Daniel 7:25 (KJV)
“And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.”
Introduction
Have you ever felt tired in your spirit? Not just physically tired—but spiritually drained, emotionally weary, and mentally worn out? That’s not just life, it’s warfare. Daniel 7:25 reveals one of the enemy’s end-time strategies: to wear out the saints of the Most High. The devil knows he can’t take your salvation, so he targets your stamina. If he can wear you down, he can weaken your worship, break your consistency, and silence your effectiveness. But I came to preach today...
"You may be weary, but you’re not defeated! "
God is going to restore strength to the tired and give power to the faint. Don’t give in to the weariness—fight back with the Word, with worship, and with the weapons of warfare.
Background on Daniel 7:25
Daniel 7 is a prophetic vision that outlines four beast-like kingdoms and the rise of a final blasphemous ruler, commonly interpreted as the Antichrist. This ruler speaks arrogant words against God, attempts to change divine laws, and is given power to persecute the saints for a limited period. But this is more than just a future prophecy—it reflects the present reality. The spirit of the Antichrist is already in the world (1 John 4:3), working to wear out God’s people mentally, spiritually, and emotionally. But the good news is... this battle has a limit, and God’s people will prevail (Daniel 7:27).
Revelation 13:7
"And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations."
Daniel 11:36-39
v36 "And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done."
v37 "Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all."
v38 "But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things."
v39 "Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain."
Key Points
1. The Devil Isn’t Trying to Kill You—He’s Trying to Wear You Down
Daniel 7:25 (KJV):
“...and shall wear out the saints of the most High...”
Satan uses spiritual erosion—pressure over time to weaken your resolve. He doesn’t need a knockout blow; he wants a slow drain. But the more he presses, the more we must press into God.
Luke 22:31–32 (KJV):
“Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not.”
2. The Enemy’s Words Are Loud, But God’s Word Is Final
Daniel 7:25 (KJV):
“And he shall speak great words against the most High...”
The enemy uses lies, accusations, and fear to drain your faith.- He speaks against your identity, your future, and your calling. But God has the final say over your life!
Isaiah 54:17 (KJV): “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn...”
3. He Tries to Shift Your Timing—But God Controls the Clock
Daniel 7:25 (KJV):“...and think to change times and laws...”
The devil tries to disrupt divine timing and delay your destiny. He wants to confuse the season you’re in to make you doubt God’s plan. But God’s timetable is sovereign—He makes all things beautiful in His time.
Ecclesiastes 3:1 (KJV):
“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”
4. Fatigue Is a Spiritual Attack—Not Just a Feeling
The enemy wants you to think you're just 'burned out,' but it's deeper than that. Fatigue in prayer, in worship, in faith—is often a targeted spiritual strategy. God doesn't just see your weariness—He promises renewal.
Isaiah 40:29–31 (KJV):
“He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength… They that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength...”
5. This Battle Has a Deadline—But Your Victory Is Eternal
Daniel 7:25 (KJV):
“...and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.”
The enemy may rage for a while—but God has set the limit. This fight is temporary, but your inheritance is forever. Keep fighting—the crown still belongs to the saints!
2 Corinthians 4:17 (KJV):
“For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.”
You May Be Weary, But You Are Still Chosen
The devil has been trying to wear out the saints, but he made one mistake—you're still here. He came for your joy, but you still have a praise. He attacked your mind, but you still have your right mind. He came to drain you, but God came to fill you!
Let the devil know:
"You tried to wear me out, but I’m still standing. You tried to silence me, but I still have a shout. You tried to delay me, but God still holds my time."
Saints of God, this is not the time to faint—this is the time to fight!
Isaiah 40:31 (KJV): “They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength...”Galatians 6:9 (KJV): “...for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
You are not worn out—you are being renewed. You are not overlooked—you are being prepared. You are not finished—you are just getting started.
Come and Be Strengthened
If you’ve been under pressure… If your worship has felt heavy… If your prayer life has been under attack… If your soul has felt tired but your spirit is willing…Come to this altar and receive strength. Come declare:
"Lord, I may be worn, but I’m not quitting! I may be pressed, but I’m not crushed! I may be tired, but I still trust You!"
Lift your hands at the altar and let God restore what the enemy tried to drain. Let Him refresh your mind, revive your heart, and refill your spirit. This is your moment to be renewed. This is your time to stand up in strength. This is your battle—but the victory is already yours!
