How Our Life Should Reflect God


“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” — Matthew 5:16 (KJV)

Reflect God Through Love

Scripture: John 13:35 — "By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another."


Key Thought: Love is the defining mark of a true follower of Christ.

Reflection Question: Do others see God’s love in how I treat people?


Reflect God Through Holiness

Scripture: 1 Peter 1:15 — "But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation."


Key Thought: Our lifestyle should reflect God's purity and set-apart nature.

Reflection Question: Are my words, habits, and choices reflecting God’s holiness?


Reflect God Through Humility

Scripture: James 4:10 — "Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up."


Key Thought: True humility mirrors the heart of Christ.

Reflection Question: Am I depending on God or trying to elevate myself?


Reflect God Through Forgiveness

Scripture: Ephesians 4:32 — "And be ye kind one to another… forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you."


Key Thought: Forgiveness shows the world God’s grace in action.

Reflection Question: Is there anyone I need to forgive today?


Reflect God Through Truthfulness

Scripture: Ephesians 4:25 — "Putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour..."


Key Thought: Honesty reflects God’s nature—He is truth.

Reflection Question: Am I known for being truthful and trustworthy?


Reflect God Through Good Works

Scripture: Matthew 5:16 — "Let your light so shine… that they may see your good works..."


Key Thought: Our actions can draw others toward God.

Reflection Question: How am I serving others as a witness of Christ?


Reflect God Through Faithfulness

Scripture: 1 Corinthians 4:2 — "It is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful."


Key Thought: Faithfulness honors God and builds trust.

Reflection Question: Am I consistent in my walk with God and responsibilities?


Reflect God Through the Fruit of the Spirit

Scripture: Galatians 5:22–23 — "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace…"


Key Thought: Our character should bear evidence of the Holy Spirit.

Reflection Question: Which fruit of the Spirit needs growth in my life?


Closing Thought & Group Discussion

Colossians 3:17 — “And whatsoever ye do… do all in the name of the Lord Jesus.”
