As we celebrate this holiday weekend with family, friends, and our loved ones near and far, we express our gratitude and honor for the risen Savior, Our Lord Jesus Christ, for choosing the way He lived, expressing the greatest form of love in the way He suffered and died as the spotless Lamb of GOD, giving a perfect atonement for our discrepancies and sinful nature. At our tables, fellowshipping with those we love, we partake of this joyous occasion knowing that Our LORD rose from the grave on the third day, just as He said He would, and then ascended unto the Father, sending us His Comforter, His Holy Spirit, to dwell within us, to comfort us, to push us to be better, to strengthen us, to help us grow and develop into the Purpose that GOD has for us all.
But celebrating this joyous occasion should not be reserved for just one day, in fact, it is in every day that we should give thanks to our LORD and King for His sacrifice, for the precious Blood that He shed on the cross, and for making an atonement for us once and for all that secures our salvation in Him, if we just believe in Him. Every day, our actions and endeavors should reflect the Grace and Mercy that has been gifted to us, through His Love, and we must share that love with those we encounter and spread the word of our testimony as we go about our daily lives, living and walking in Faith, bringing peace and light to the world as the ambassadors and disciples of Christ, so that all may know the gospel, and may be moved to repentance and life changing deliverance.
